Disability Library
AFD runs a comprehensive disability
library based at Hunters Moor Regional Rehabilitation Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK
There are over 800 books on a wide range of disability issues including head and spinal injury, rehabilitation, sex, psychiatry and psychology. There are also unpublished reports on many topics including those by the Department of Health, Royal College of Physicians, Royal College of Nursing and World Health Organisation.

The library is open to anyone during normal office hours. The library is essentially non-loan but some books can be borrowed by special request.
